Puget Sound in third place for NWC's All-Sports Trophy

TACOMA, Washington – Puget Sound is ranked third in the race for the 2018-19 Northwest Conference McIlroy-Lewis All-Sports Trophy, the NWC announced this week.

Puget Sound fall teams totaled 72 points, led by 17 points from the women's soccer team. That Logger team earned a share of the 2018 NWC title, and received the automatic bid for the NCAA D-III Championships.

Puget Sound's men's cross country, men's soccer, and volleyball each placed fourth in their respective seasons. That's good for 12 points each in the All-Sports standings. Women's cross country earned 10 points, and the football team picked up nine.

Whitworth is in first place with 87 points, and Pacific Lutheran follows with 86.
