Riley homers in 9-2 loss against NCAA D-I Seattle

SEATTLE - All-Northwest Conference honoree Hunter Riley belted his first home run of the season, but the Puget Sound baseball team lost at its NCAA D-I neighbors, Seattle, 9-2, Monday night. 

Riley put the Loggers ahead, 1-0, with a solo home run in the top of the second inning. However, Seattle scored nine unanswered runs to secure the win. 

Jack Gries reached base on an error in the sixth inning, and he later same around to score when Kyle Strash grounded into a double play. 

The Loggers host Pacific Lutheran at Cheney Stadium, Thursday, April 26, for a non-conference game starting at 7 p.m.
