Men's crew earns Cascade Cup title

VANCOUVER, Washington – Puget Sound men's crew continued to roll as it claimed the Cascade Cup title in total points on Vancouver Lake Sunday morning.

The Loggers totaled 42 points during the event. Western Washington placed second with 30 points, followed by Lewis & Clark (22), and Seattle Pacific (8).

Meanwhile, the Logger women placed third in the Northwest Conference Championships with 34 points. Pacific Lutheran earned the conference title with 42 points, and Lewis & Clark finished second with 35 points. Alexia Ingerson and Audra Tromly were named to the All-NWC Team.

The men's varsity four won its race with a time of 7:18.54, and the varsity eight also claimed a victory by finishing in 6:28.20.

The women's varsity four was also victorious, crossing the finish line with a time of 8:05.06. The women's varsity eight placed third by finishing in 7:29.69, and the second varsity eight placed second in 7:30.47.
