TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's and women's golf teams prepare for the two-day Northwest Conference Championships starting on Saturday, April 23. Pacific is hosting the event at Crosswater Golf Club in Sunriver, Oregon.
Teeing off (men)
Rob Schulberg is slated to tee off first for Puget Sound, at 12 p.m. He's followed by Brett Golden (12:09 p.m.), Hudson Hausman (12:18 p.m.), Collin Racjzak (12:27 p.m.), and Jeremy Van den Berg. All groups will start at hole 10.
Teeing off (women)
Starting at hole one, Halle Peterson tees off at noon, followed by Kristi Koyanagi (12:09 p.m.), Lauren Boniface (12:18 p.m.), Pearl Zhu (12:27 p.m.), and Billie Edwards (12:36 p.m.).
NWC Spring Classic
The Puget Sound men's golf team finished seventh and the women placed eighth in the Northwest Conference Spring Classic hosted by Whitman at the Wine Valley Golf Club on the weekend of April 9. The Logger men shot 53 over the 576 par, after shooting a 317 in the first round followed by 312 in the second. Collin Rajczak tied for 25th overall with a +10. Rob Schulberg placed 30th by shooting +13, and Hudson Hausmann tied for 31st at +14. The Puget Sound women shot +292 over the 576 par through two rounds. The Loggers shot 434 in each round. Kristi Koyanagi was the Loggers' top finisher in 28th place (+31), and Lauren Boniface shot a +52, good for 35th overall.
