SUN RIVER, Oregon – The Puget Sound men finished seventh, while the women placed eighth place at the Northwest Conference Championships. The tournament was contested at the Crosswater Golf Club and was hosted by Pacific.
The Logger men finished in seventh place with a 61-over par 637. The team carded a 321 in Sunday's final round. Whitworth won the tournament, shooting a 17-over 593. Pirate Andrew Dodge was the top individual, finishing four-under 140 (72-68).
Brett Golden led the way for the Loggers, finishing in a tie for 20th. Golden shot a 12-over par 156 (75-81). Hudson Hausmann finished just behind in a tie for 24th at 13-over 157 (79-78). Rob Schulberg carded a 19-over 163 (81-82) to finish tied for 33rd, while Colin Racjzak was tied for 37th at 21-over 165 (81-84). Casey Weston finished in 42nd place at 28-over par 172 (92-80).
For the women, George Fox won the tournament, shooting 24-over 600. Hailey Ostrom of George Fox finished first as an individual, carding a 1-over 145. The Loggers placed eighth, shooting a 233-over par 799 for the tournament.
Kristi Koyanagi finished in a tie for 27th at 31-over par 175 (94-81). Halle Peterson finished 31st after carding a 33-over 177 (87-90), while Lauren Boniface placed 37th at 67-over 211 (108-103). Pearl Zhu finished 41st at 92-over 236 (123-113).
