Women's golf places sixth in the PLU Invitational

SPANAWAY, Washington – The Puget Sound women's golf team placed sixth overall in the Pacific Lutheran Invitational this weekend at Spanaway Golf Course. The Loggers shot a 765 (+189) through the two-round event.

Results

Kristy Koyanagi was the Loggers' top finisher, placing 23rd overall by shooting a 176 (+32). She shot an 85 on Saturday, followed by a 91 on Sunday. Emmi Modahl (+47) and Onti Rosen (+51) placed 34th and 35th, respectively.

The women's golf team next competes in the Whitworth Invitational, starting Oct. 2. The Puget Sound men's golf team opens its season in the St. Martin's Invitational on Sept. 23.
