Men's golf finishes sixth at Pacific Lutheran Invitational

DUPONT, Washington – The Puget Sound men's golf team placed sixth overall in the Pacific Lutheran Invitational, which concluded on Monday. The Lutes hosted the two-day event at The Home Course in DuPont, Washington.

Nate Boegl was the Loggers' top finisher, placing 14th overall after shooting nine over par (153). The freshman was tied for fourth after the first round by shooting a 74.

Jeremy Van den Berg tied for 28th overall by shooting a 159 (+15) through the two rounds.

As a team, the Loggers shot a 637 (+61). Pacific Lutheran won the event by shooting just 21 over par.

The Loggers return to action in the St. Martin's Invitational starting on Friday, Sept. 23.
