TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound golf teams travel east for the Whitman Spring Invitational, starting Saturday, March 10.
The where
Women's teams will compete at Columbia Point Golf Course in Richland, Washington, while men's teams compete at Wine Valley Golf Club in Walla Walla, Washington.
Spring in their step
The Puget Sound men's and women's golf teams opened their spring season with a solid showing in the Pacific Lutheran Invitational, March 3-4. In all, three Loggers placed in the top 10. Kristi Koyanagi was seventh among all women's golfers, and Emmi Modahl placed ninth. Brett Golden finished ninth out of 40 men's golfers.
Looking ahead
Both Logger teams will have a month off before competing in the Northwest Conference Spring Classic, April 7-8, in Spokane, Wash.
Championship hosts
Puget Sound will host the 2018 NWC Golf Championships, April 21-22, at Oakbrook Golf Course in Lakewood, Wash.
