Loggers finish first NWC weekend with 2-0 loss to Bearcats

TACOMA, Washington - The Puget Sound men's soccer team was efficient with its shot selection, but the Loggers lost to Willamette, 2-0, in Baker Stadium Sunday afternoon. 

Puget Sound (3-3, 1-1 NWC) put five of its six shots on target, but none of the attempts reached the back of the net. Five different Loggers accounted for the shots on goal. 

Willamettte (5-1-1, 2-0 NWC), on the other hand, totaled 16 shots, half of which were on goal. The Bearcats also finished with a 9-2 advantage in corner kicks. 

The Loggers aim to regroup at Whitworth, Saturday, Sept. 22, for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff.
