Loggers battle to scoreless tie with Boxers

TACOMA, Washington – Puget Sound was evenly matched with Pacific, 0-0, on East Field Saturday afternoon.

The Loggers (3-4-2, 1-2-2 NWC)  put 13 shots on goal against Pacific (1-5-3, 0-3-2 NWC). Angel Herrera-Flores, Cale Spence, Sam Gonzalez, and Kian Evans each had two shots on goal. Sean Hamel had three shots on goal, but all of them were saved.

Pacific made two shots on goal, but Wren Norwood made both saves.

Hamel made a shot in the last minute-and-a-half of double overtime, but it was saved by the goalie.

A total of 18 fouls were given to both teams, and two yellow cards were given out during the match.

Puget Sound will host George Fox (1-7-1, 0-4-1 NWC)​ on East Field on Sunday, Sept. 30, at 12 p.m.​
