Tennis teams downed by D-I Seattle

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's and women's tennis teams both lost to NCAA D-I Seattle University, 7-0, Friday afternoon. The Logger men hosted the Redhawks, while the women played up I-5 in Seattle.

Competing at No. 3 singles for the women, Bridget Myers won her second set, 6-2. However, she was downed in three sets (6-3, 2-6, 10-5). Myers competed well with Barclay Fagg at No. 2 doubles, falling by just a 6-3 margin. Lisa Owen and Nicole Bouche lost by the same score at No. 1 doubles. 

The No. 1 men's doubles team of Riley Inn and Joashua Wah-Blumberg won three games, but ultimately lost, 6-3.

The Logger men next host Whitworth, Feb. 24, and the Logger women host the Pirates, March 2.
