Logger men downed by Whitworth

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's tennis team nearly pulled off a couple of doubles victories, but Whitworth topped the Loggers, 9-0, in a Northwest Conference match in the Tennis Pavilion Sunday.

The No. 1 doubles team of Joshua Wah-Blumberg and Lowell got within two points of their Pirate counterparts, 8-6. Puget Sound's No. 2 doubles team of Ben Colson and Aiden Velasco was even closer – but it finished just short in an 8-7 decision. 

Puget Sound continues its NWC schedule at Lewis & Clark, March 9. The Loggers will remain in Oregon that weekend to take on George Fox, March 10.
