Three-day Logger Invitational set for this weekend

TACOMA, Washington – Following a three-week break from competition, the Puget Sound men's and women's swim teams return to Wallace Pool to host three-day Logger Invitational, Dec. 1-3.

NWC landscape

The Logger men are tied with Whitman for the second-best record in the Northwest Conference at 3-1. Pacific Lutheran and Whitworth are both 4-0. On the women's side, the Loggers are tied with Pacific Lutheran atop the standings with 4-0 records.

 

Sophomore standouts

Sophomore Kelli Callahan was named the Logger of the Week (Nov. 6) after she won all six of her events against Lewis & Clark and Pacific. Sophomore Dylan Reimers also won all six of his events against those same NWC rivals, and he was subsequently named the NWC Student-Athlete of the Week.

 

Looking ahead

The Loggers open the 2018 calendar year at Trinity (Tex.), Jan. 9.
