Callahan earns NWC Student-Athlete of the Week

TACOMA, Washington  - Sophomore Kelli Callahan was named the Northwest Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for women's swimming, the league announced early this week. 

Callahan led Puget Sound to a second-place in the Logger Invitational, Dec. 1-3. She earned three individual first-place finishes, including the 200-IM (2:08.93), 400-IM (4:33.14), and 100-breaststroke (1:06.40). 

Callahan also teamed up with Calista Skog, Carmen Mena, and Cassidy Cook to win the 800-freestyle relay (7:54.87).

Off to a great start this year, Callahan was named the Logger Club Logger of the Week earlier this season.
