Loggers return to conference action at the Whits

TACOMA, Washington – Northwest Conference dual season is back in swing when the Puget Sound men's and women's swim teams travel to eastern Washington to compete at Whitworth (Jan. 11) and Whitman (Jan. 12).

 

Mixed up in Cali

Puget Sound recently returned from its training trip in southern California, where the Loggers competed against Redlands in mixed relays. The Bulldogs topped the Loggers, 153-46. Click HERE to learn more.

 

Conference landscape

The Logger women are tied with Pacific Lutheran atop the Northwest Conference standings, as the rival squads are both 3-0 in conference. Whitman and Whitworth closely follow with 3-1 records. The Logger men are 2-1 in the NWC, which is the same mark as Linfield. Whitman is 3-1, Pacific Lutheran is 3-0, and Whitworth is atop the men's standings with a 4-0 record.

 

The next home meets

The Loggers' next, and last, home meets of the season are NWC duals against George Fox and Willamette, Jan. 18-19.

 

Championship hosts

Puget Sound is hosting the Northwest Conference Championships, Feb. 7-10, at the Weyerhaueser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Washington.
