Men's relay teams earn All-NWC honors

FEDERAL WAY, Washington – Two Puget Sound men's relay teams earned All-Northwest Conference status during the first day of the 2019 Northwest Conference Swimming Championships Thursday night in the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center. 

Day 1 Results

Brett Kolb, Justin Sasano, Eli Champagne, and Dylan Reimers placed second in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a time of 6:55.73. The finish is good for an All-NWC First Team honor.

Reimers, Ian Conery, Champagne, and Matthew Cole teamed up to finish the 200 medley relay in 1:34.15. The third-place finish is good for an All-NWC Second Team nod.

Through four total events in the championships, the Logger men are in second place with 66 points, and the women are in fourth with 58 points. Preliminaries begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, with finals scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
