Loggers to compete in Pacific Luau this Saturday

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's and women's track & field teams head to Forest Grove, Oregon, for the Pacific Luau Invitational on Saturday, April 8. The first event is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

The field

Student-athletes from Lewis & Clark and Evergreen State are expected to join the Loggers and Boxers this Saturday.

 

Bradlina Logger of the Week

Sophomore Emery Bradlina was named the Logger Club Logger of the Week on Monday. During the 31st Shotwell Invitational on April 1, The Boulder, Colorado, native placed second out of 15 runners in the 800-m run, crossing the finish line in 2:14.68. She holds the top time in the Northwest Conference for the 800-m this season. Bradlina won the 400-m dash in 58.38 seconds, beating 16 other women's runners. Her time on Saturday is the second-best in the Northwest Conference this season.

Looking ahead

Graham Cobb and Matthew Wells will both compete in the NWC Multi-Event Championships at Pacific, April 10-11.
