TACOMA, Washington – Emery Bradlina was named a Scholar-Athlete, and the Puget Sound women's track & field team earned an All-Academic nod from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Bradlina's academic accomplishments compliment her memorable sophomore season on the track. The Boulder, Colorado, native was named to the USTFCCCA All-West Region after qualifying for the NCAA Championships in the 800-m. On the national stage, Bradlina set a personal record by crossing the finish line in 2:11.43. That mark ranks third all-time in the Logger record books.
The women's track & field team consistently performs well in the classroom, and the Loggers finished the 2016-17 academic year with a 3.36 team GPA.
