Loggers earn several top-three finishes in PLU Open

PARKLAND, Washington – The Puget Sound men's and women's track & field teams came away with several favorable finishes in the Pacific Lutheran Open Saturday.

Results

Isaac Fournier placed second in the men's 1,500-m run by crossing the finish line in 4:02.73. He was also fourth in the 800-m (1:56.28). Liam Monaghan took second in the 3,000-m steeplechase with a time of 10:19.68. 

Terra Wildon and Alison Wise finished back-to-back in the women's 800-m. Wildon was third with a time of 2:24.72, and Wise was fourth with a time of 2:27.91. 

Samantha Schaffer earned a second-place finish in the 5,000-m, crossing the finish line in 18:24.93.

The Loggers next host the Shotwell Invitational, March 24.
