Puget Sound leads the NWC in rebounding by a wide margin. The Loggers average 46.0 rebounds per game, and the next closest mark in Linfield's 41.5. In addition to Jamie Lange, Meghan Hamel ranks in the top 10 for rebounding with 6.6 boards per game.

Tough shots

Puget Sound's defense leads the NWC in opponent field-goal percentage. The Loggers are limiting the opposition to just 35.7 percent shooting from the floor.

Scouting George Fox (9-2, 2-0 NWC)

The Bruins are ranked No. 23 in the most recent Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) national poll (Dec. 20), and they are receiving votes in the most recent D3hoops.com national poll (Jan. 1). After losing consecutive games against Bethel (Minn.) and St. Thomas (Minn.), George Fox has rattled off seven consecutive wins. Kaitlin Jamieson leads the team in scoring (11.3), followed by Tavin Headings (10.3). George Fox ranks second in the NWC for points per game (69.8), trailing only Whitman (77.5).

Scouting Willamette (6-6, 2-1 NWC)

The Bearcats won their two most recent games to snap a four-game losing streak. One of those victories was at Linfield, 76-70. Kylie Towry is the league's third-leading scorer with 16.8 points per game, and Brittany Kochenderfer ranks fourth in rebounding (7.8).
