Krietzman, Schuster score, Loggers taken down by George Fox

TACOMA, Washington – Roxanne Krietzman and Haley Schuster each scored, as the Puget Sound lacrosse team fell to George Fox, 20-2, on Saturday afternoon.

Krietzman and Schuster scored for the Loggers (4-3, 1-2 NWC), while Hailey Shoemaker and Izzy Amaya led the squad with three ground balls each. Ella Frazer had six draw controls, and Shoemaker and Amaya each caused three turnovers.  

George Fox (6-2, 3-0 NWC) scored two goals within the first minute, and never looked back. The Bruins took a 11-0 lead before the Loggers got on the board with 5:25 left in the first half. The visitors outscored Puget Sound 6-1 in the second half to ease into the conference victory.   

Ally Benko (3-3) took the loss, making 10 saves. She faced 30 shots from the Bruins.

The Loggers will next host Pacific on Sunday, April 2. The game is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.
