Frazer, Simon score early, but Loggers lose at George Fox

NEWBERG, Oregon – The Puget Sound lacrosse team opened the 2018 season with a 16-2 loss at George Fox Saturday afternoon.

The Loggers (0-1, 0-1 NWC) kept pace with the Bruins (2-0, 1-0 NWC) early, as Ella Frazer's goal five minutes into the game cut Puget Sound's deficit to 2-1.

George Fox netted consecutive goals before Rebecca Simon scored with 21:22 on the clock to make it a 4-2 game. However, Simon's goal was the last for Puget Sound.

The Loggers remain in Oregon for a 12 p.m. game at Linfield on Sunday, March 4.
