Three Loggers net three goals to beat Johnson & Wales, 15-7

AURORO, Colorado – Three Loggers scored three goals each as the Puget Sound lacrosse team won its second consecutive game with a 15-7 triumph at Johson & Wales Tuesday evening.

Lauren Mastin, Ali Walker, and Hannah Bushing all scored three goals in the win. The three scores were Bushing's first goals of the season.

Hannah Nichols and Jenna Kisner both scored twice for Puget Sound, and Kisner added three assists. Maggie Hatt also scored, and Sara Burke came away with a goal and an assist.

Ally Benko made nine saves in the winning effort.

The Loggers raced out to a 5-0 through the game's first 15 minutes, and they carried an 8-1 lead into halftime.

Puget Sound remains in Aurora, Colorado where it aims for its third consecutive win against Marian (Wis.) Wednesday, March 20, at 11 a.m.
