Lange earns Northwest Conference Player of the Week

TACOMA, WashingtonJamie Lange was named the Northwest Conference Women's Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week (defense) after she recorded 12 saves and did not allow a goal between a pair of Logger home games. 


Lange notched 12 saves through 110 minutes as Puget Sound reached a scoreless tie against Eastern Oregon (Sept. 8). Two days later, Lange needed just two saves (75 minutes) to blank Evergreen St., 3-0. 

The Lake Tapps, Washington, native has a miniscule 0.49 goals-against average through four games this season. Lange also has 27 saves for a .931 saves percentage. Dating back to the first game of the season, Lange has held opponents scoreless for 304 consecutive minutes.

The Loggers open their Northwest Conference schedule at home this weekend, starting with Linfield on Saturday, Sept. 16, at 12 p.m.
