TACOMA, Washington – Lisa Owen and Nicole Bouche remain undefeated in NCAA D-III matches, but the Puget Sound women's tennis team lost at home against Lewis & Clark, 6-3, Saturday afternoon. The Logger men fell on the road against the Pioneers, 9-0.
For the third time in three NCAA D-III matches this season, Owen and Bouche swept singles and doubles competition. Owen was victorious at No. 1 singles (6-2, 6-2), while Bouche won at No. 2 singles (6-0, 7-5). The two Loggers joined forces to dominate at No. 1 doubles, 8-1.
Earlier this year, Owen and Bouche beat counterparts from Pacific Lutheran and Whitworth.
The Logger teams take George Fox Sunday, March 10, with the women at home and the men remaining on the road. Both matches start at 12 p.m.
