Women's cross country up two spots in West Region

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound women's cross country team moved up two spots in this week's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Regional Poll.

The Loggers are ranked No. 5 this week, after being ranked No. 7 in each of the previous two weeks.

Led by Samantha Schaffer's 24th overall finish, the Loggers placed ninth out of 18 teams in the Charles Bowles Invitational hosted by Willamette, Sept. 30.

Puget Sound is off from competition this weekend, but the Loggers return for the Pioneer Invitational on Oct. 14.
