Monaghan continues brilliant season at Lewis & Clark Invite

ESTACADA, Oregon – Colin Monaghan won't slow down. For the fourth time in as many races, the Puget Sound men's cross country freshman was the top NCAA D-III runner during the Lewis & Clark Invitational Saturday in McIver State Park. 

Results

The Logger men placed sixth out of 13 teams, and the Puget Sound women were seventh out of 14.

Monaghan placed fourth out of 135 runners, cross the finish line in 24:23.1. Jack Lindauer also had a great run for the Loggers. He finished 11th with a time of 24:39.7.

In the women's race, Emery Bradlina placed 10th out of 126 runners. She timed in at 21:53.3. Samantha Schaffer finished 10 spots behind Bradlina with a time of 22:34.7.

The Loggers return to McIver State Park for the NWC Championships, Oct. 27.
