Monaghan, Lindauer, Schaffer earn All-NWC nods

TACOMA, Washington – Three Puget Sound cross country runners earned All-Northwest Conference honors, the NWC announced this week.

Logger freshman Colin Monaghan led the way by earning NWC Men's Runner of the Year, NWC Men's Freshman of the Year, and winning the NWC Men's Championship (Oct. 27). Monaghan won the championship race with a time of 25:39.1.

Jack Lindauer earned All-NWC Second Team when he placed eighth overall in the NWC men's championship with a time of 26:30.4.

Samantha Schaffer, the 2017 NWC Women's Freshman of the Year, earned All-NWC Second Team for the Second Consecutive Season. She was 10th overall in the 2018 NWC women's championship, timing in at 23:53.1.
