TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's tennis team won two of its three doubles competitions, but the Loggers ultimately lost to Pacific Lutheran, 6-3, in the 2022 season opener in the Tennis Pavilion Saturday.
 
Mike Smolskis and Will Church won at No. 2 doubles, 8-5. Nicholas Pulido and Levi Buck were victorious at No. 3 doubles, 8-4.
 
Rene Del Barco earned the Loggers' only win in singles competition, beating his counterpart in two sets (6-1, 6-2) on the No. 6 court.
