Tennis teams downed by Lewis & Clark

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's and women's tennis teams lost to Lewis & Clark Saturday. The Logger men came up short in the Tennis Pavilion, 5-4, and the women fell 7-2 in Portland.
 
The Logger men won two the three doubles match. Trent Beckman and Noah Henderson won at No. 1 doubles, 5-4. Nicholas Pulido and Brayden Sawyer won at No. 3 doubles, 8-6.
 
In singles play, Henderson won on the No. 2 court (6-2, 6-1). Sawyer was victorious on the No. 6 court (6-4, 7-5).
 
In the women's match, Andie Machida and Paige Shinall dominated at No. 1 doubles, 8-2. Machida also won her No. 1 singles match in three sets (6-0, 5-7, 6-3).
