Logger swimming to celebrate 11 seniors this weekend

TACOMA, Washington – Puget Sound swimming celebrates 11 seniors when the Loggers host Willamette (Jan. 13) and Linfield (Jan. 14) for the final home meets of the 2022-23 season.

Leading up to Saturday's Northwest Conference dual against the Wildcats, Puget Sound recognizes its senior members: Victoria Friedrich, Catherine Frisiras, Izzy Hendryx, Corey Hodder, Brett Kolb, Hannah Lillard, Grace Moussa, Mae Niebuhr, Brennan Preyer, Annie Sullivan, Calvin Werts.

The weekend marks Puget Sound's first NWC duals since Nov. 19, when both Logger squads easily beat Pacific.

Puget Sound recently hosted NCAA D-I Seattle Tuesday this week. Althought both Logger teams lost, Werts had an eye-popping victory in the men's 100-backstroke. In women's races, Elinor Glass, Hendryx, and Maddy Brennan each earned second place in individual races.

Following this weekend, Puget Sound has two more NWC duals at Lewis & Clark (Jan. 21) and Pacific Lutheran (Jan. 28). The NWC Championships are Feb. 9-12 in Federal Way, Washington.
