WALLA WALLA, Wash. — The University of Puget Sound men's and women's golf team completed the two-day Confluence Classic Invitational this past weekend. The Logger men finished 8th overall, while the Logger Women finished 7th.
The women's team remains with two strong leaders, freshman Kira Goode, who tied for 29th place, shooting a 172 between two rounds, and sophomore Kaila Bonawitz, who tied for 32nd place, shooting a 175 between two rounds.
For the men, freshman Cade Streeter continues to be a huge driving force finishing in 6th place, shooting an even par, despite challenges on the course. Sophomore Drew Spitzer and freshman Zavier Feasey-Allen both competed well the second round in intense wind and rain, battling to shoot a 74 and 76, respectively.
Both the men and women finished out the fall season with positive attitudes and determination, overcoming ups and downs through brutal weather conditions with perseverance.
