Cabana, Glass lead Loggers in dominate victories at Pacific University

Forest Grove, Ore. – Puget Sound swimming put on a dominating performance Friday evening against Pacific University in a Northwest Conference match-up. Both Will Cabana and Elinor Glass each came up with two wins for the night, for the combined men's and women's events, the Loggers won all but one race touching first in the other 17 events. The men beat the Boxers by a score of 122-14 with the women capturing the night with a score of 121-52.

Cabana timed in for first place in the 50-yard freestyle as well as the 200-yard backstroke. Cabana also was part of the winning team in the 400-yard medley relay. Glass captured the 50-yard freestyle in the women's race as well as the 200-yard breaststroke, and was the second leg of the winning 400-yard medley relay event.   

Other multi-event winners included Lance Mielke, Alex Werth, Josh Cunningham, Emory Burden, Elijah Grinstead, and Campbell Wencel that each captured a men's individual victory and were part of a winning relay team. On the women's side, other multi-event winners for an individual event combined with a relay were Annie Sullivan with Maddy Brennan and Holly Zipay as part of both winning relay teams.  

The Loggers are back in action for the Logger Invitational taking place Dec. 1-3 held at Puget Sound.
