TACOMA, Washington (October 12, 2024) - Logger Swimming may have fallen to the Simon Fraser Swim Team in team scoring, but they found an array of positives to be their silver lining.
Head Coach Jay Daniels emphasized the success from both Sam Lyon and Emory Burden accross the men's competitions. Winning the 200 Medley Relay was "impressive", and he was extremely pleased with their time. On the women's side of the action, the top four individual scorers were all freshmen, with the top two performers Trinity Link and Camille McClafferty.
Link placed third in the 10 Breaststroke, she and her relay squad placed third in the 200 Medley, and fourth in the 100 Freestyle and 100 Butterfly. McClafferty paced second in the 200 IM, third in the 200 Breaststroke, and fourth in the 1000 Freestyle.
Logger Swimming next competes at home against Whitworth University, on Friday, November 1st at 6:00pm.
