Men's & Women's Swimming Bests Whitman

TACOMA, Washington (November 2, 2024) - In their second meet in two days, Logger Swimming is gaining momentum. As teams, the women topped the Blues 118-86, and the men did the same, 137-68, to earn both teams their first team victories of the season.

Will Cabana had a meet to remember, placing first in the 100-yard backstroke, first in the 50-yard freestyle, and first as a member of the 200-yard freestyle relay alongside teammates Campbell Wencel, Kai Sackretter, and Emory Burder.

In the women's action, the Puget Sound 200-yard medley relay squad won topped to podium with strong performances from Harper McGuire, Camille McClafferty, Madeline Brennan, and Trinity Link. Clafferty also finished first in the 400-yard IM, and second in the 100-yard breaststroke.

Logger Swimming's next meet is their only meet next weekend, at Pacific University on Saturday, November 9th.
