Logger men's tennis nets first win in 7-2 victory at Willamette University

Box Score SALEM, Ore. – The Puget Sound men's tennis team came out on top in a dual meet 7-2 win at Willamette University on Saturday night. 

The Loggers got off to a fast start by winning all three doubles matches. Noah Henderson and Conor Blakeney dominated with an 8-3 set score start followed by an 8-6 win from Will Church and Brayden Sawyer. Jason Rowe wins for the second time this weekend with Carson Ward for an 8-5 score. 

Church and Rowe continued their winning streak with wins at #1 and #3 in singles, finishing in three sets each. Matthew Zou faced a close match but was a 7-6, 3-6, 10-3 victor at fifth singles. To finish out the meet, Matthew Merzbach took No. 6 singles, 6-1, 6-1.

The Logger men's tennis team will head to Linfield University on Sunday, Feb. 11. Watch the dual meet here.
