TACOMA, Wash. — This weekend at the Puget Sound Invitational the men's golf team took fifth place and the women's team finished last at the Oak Brook Golf Course.
On a par 72, Mickey Cosgrove led the Loggers with a top-10 score of 75 on day one and day two finished with a 151 stroke total, tying for 14
th. The Loggers next best scorer was Cade Streeter with consecutive 77 stroke scores each day to total 154 over a 36-hole match and tie for 17th place.
Kira Goode took eighth place to lead the women's team with a top-score of 76 strokes on the second day and totaling 159 strokes over two days. Followed by Kaila Bondawitz who scored 168 strokes and took 11
th place overall.
The Loggers will head to Newberg, Oregon to face off against George Fox University after spring break, on March 23 and 24.
