TACOMA, Wash. – The Puget Sound men's tennis team saw wins across the board in a 7-2 victory against Willamette University in the Tennis Pavilion on Friday night.
Jason Rowe and
Matthew Zou took home the first win in the double #2 with a score of 8-3. Following,
Will Church and
Brayden Sawyer dominated with an 8-1 win in doubles #3. The Bearcats were tough at the net winning in the doubles #1 8-2.
In singles #1
Jason Rowe lost to Willamette with set scores of 6-3, 6-2, but the rest of the Logger singles competitors took wins. Henderson won with scores of 6-1 and 7-5.
Carson Ward followed with two 6-4 wins. Church grabbed a 6-3 and 6-1 victory and Zou led with two 6-3 wins.
Tyler Blixt finished with scores of 6-1, 6-3.
The Loggers face Pacific University on Sunday in Forest Grove, Oregon at 10 a.m.
