Goode secures eighth place finish in Northwest Conference Championships

AURORA, Ore. – The Puget Sound men's and women's golf teams wrapped up their weekend at the Northwest Conference Championships with sixth-place finishes out of the eight competing teams.

Kira Goode led for the Loggers securing an eighth place finish overall, while Cade Streeter led for the men's team finishing 11 over par and tying for 17th place. 

Meanwhile, the George Fox Bruins women and the Whitman Blues men emerged victorious claiming the 2024 NWC Golf Championship titles.  Both teams dominated with the top three individual scores. The Bruins women finished with a final score of 615, just 47 over par, with Alison Takamiya clinching the top spot at six over par. The Blues men impressed with Mason Remmington's first-place finish, tallying 158 strokes, and a team score of 14 strokes over par, resulting in a final score of 582 strokes.
