SEATTLE, Washington (January 17, 2025) -- Three Loggers traveled to the University of Washington today to represent the University of Puget Sound track and field team in the first indoor meet of 2025.
Alex Rhodes,
Avery Keith, and
Kyrstin Wilson had impressive performances, setting a positive tone for the rest of the season.
Rhodes won the 400 meters with a time of 46.51, breaking his own indoor school record. He also competed in the 60-meter dash, finishing 10th in 6.93 seconds.
Keith placed fifth in the 400 meters, improving his personal best to 48.38. He now ranks second on the Loggers' all-time indoor list for the event.
On the women's side, Wilson finished 9th in the 200 meters with a time of 25.48 and 16th in the 60 meters in 7.81 seconds. Both times were just milliseconds off the school records, which Wilson already holds for the 200 meters.
The Loggers' next meet is January 26 at the University of Portland, followed by another competition at the University of Washington on January 31.
