How it Happened
Day 1
In their opening round at Veterans Memorial Golf Course, the Loggers all broke 100 on a windy Sunday. Goode led the way, firing a 76 (+4) to pace the team, bouncing back with an impressive 1-under 35 on the back nine. Elise Munding followed suit, shooting an 88 (+16) as the second-best Logger round of the day.Â
Francesca Brinkman, Reagan Molander, and Abigail Udlock rounded out the scoring, shooting 93 (+21), 97 (+25), and 98 (+26) respectively. They helped pace the Loggers to a first round 354, setting them up well for a round two at Wine Valley GC.
Day 2
Goode continued to impress, shooting a 75 (+3) to make her way into the Logger record books. This marks the best round in the women's golf team's history. Not only did she break the one-day record, Goode also broke the 36-hole record with a 151 (+7), taking down the previous record by three strokes.Â
Munding played better on day two as well, improving by seven strokes in a nine-over 81. She started out par-birdie, setting up her round well. Brinkman also improved, shooting a 91 (+19) to cap off her fall. Molander and Udlock rounded out the scoring for the Loggers, shooting 95 (+23) and 109 (+37) respectively.Â

The Loggers have concluded their play for the fall, and look to open up their spring tournaments in February 2026.Â
