Loggers' Have Solid Second Round at Pacific Invite

NORTH PLAINS, Ore. -- The Loggers improved on their day-one score by 13 strokes, placing sixth at the Pacific Invite.

How it Happened
Day 1:
Kira Goode and Elise Munding led the way for the Loggers on day one, shooting 81 (+10), and 82 (+ 11), respectively. Both recorded a birdie on the back nine as well, as they put together a solid day one. Cayton Smith and Francesca Brinkman shot in the 80s as well, as both recorded an 89 (+18) to lead things off. Abigail Udlock rounded out the scoring with a 105 (+34). 

Day 2:
Goode had a phenomenal round two, sneaking into the top-5 individually with a day-two score of 76 (+5) - just one stroke shy of a Puget Sound school record. Smith bounced back with an 83 (+12), including a stretch of four pars in a row on the front. Munding and Brinkman also had solid days, shooting 84 (+13) and 85 (+14) respectively. Udlock wrapped up the scoring with an eight-stroke improvement on day two, shooting a 97 (+26) for the Loggers. 

What Happens Next
The Loggers head back to Oregon for the NWC Fall Classic on October 12th-13th at Oswego Lake CC.
