TUMWATER, Wash. — The University of Puget Sound women's golf team placed fourth overall in a competitive field at the South Puget Sound Community College Invitational, finishing at +84 over two rounds.
Bellevue College dominated the tournament, capturing first place with a team score of +48, followed by host SPSCC at +54 and Pacific Lutheran at +69. The Loggers rounded out the top four with a two-round total of +84, improving slightly in Round 2 with a +36 after shooting +48 on the opening day.
Puget Sound was led by
Kaila Bonawitz, who posted a 167 (+23) for the weekend, which sat her in 6th place on the individual leaderboard.
Kira Goode was close behind with a total score of 170, tying for 7th place.
Abigail Udlock wrapped up the scoring for the Loggers with a 200 (+56), showing resilience across both rounds.
The Loggers now look ahead to the Northwest Conference Championship next weekend, hosted by Linfield.
