VANCOUVER LAKE, Wash. – The Loggers women's crew team won 3 out of the 4 races of the Pio Invite in dominant fashion, and took 2nd in the women's varsity 4A.
1V started the day blowing out other teams in the conference by margin of 14 seconds.

Maddie Brown, with
Fran Dadulla coxing, pulled ahead at the 800 meter mark and never looked back. They set their fastest time of the year at 7:25.4.
The Loggers went back out on the water for the novice 4 events. The team, consisting of
Ellery Garcia,
Maggie Smith,
Maddie Brown, and
Haley Stephen, took a commanding lead within 350 meters and finished ahead of the pack by 51 seconds.
Both the varsity 4 teams had strong showings, with the B team winning their heat by 45 seconds with a time of 8:49.0. The A team placed second with a time of 8:18.1, just shy of Pacific Lutheran placing first at 8:06.5.

Maddie Brown's success her first year in the boat who led the 1V boat to victory today and has picked up several other wins in commanding fashion this season.
The team will return to Vancouver Lake on April 19th for the Northwest Conference Championships.
