Loggers Sit in 9th After Day One of PLU Invite

| By:
DUPONT, Wash. -- The Loggers kicked off their 2025-26 campaign at the PLU Invitational, finishing the day in ninth place.

How it Happened
Cade Streeter led the way for the men in maroon, firing a day-one 74 (+2) to pace the team. He was very consistent throughout the day, recording 16 pars and only two bogeys to finish two-over. Charlie Stephens and Andrew Spitzer also fired off rounds in the 70s, with Stephens coming in with a 77 (+5), and Spitzer with a 78 (+6).

Spitzer recovered well after shooting a 41 on the back nine, rounding the front and knocking in a birdie on the tough par-3 fourth. Charlie Carlson (83) and Jackson Dolorque (85) rounded out the scoring for the Loggers as they look to find their groove in the second round.

Jack Kuntz led the way on the Puget Sound B-Team, recording an impressive five birdies en route to a 76 (+4). Michael Baker (80), Zavier Feasey-Allen (81), and Kenny Castro (89) wrapped up the scoring, as the B-Team recorded a 38-over round of 236.

The team is within striking distance of the top five, but will need some solid rounds tomorrow. Streeter leads the way individually, currently T-13 after the first round.

What Happens Next
The Loggers are right back at it at 9:00 am tomorrow, September 30th, for round 2 of the PLU Invite.
