Streeter's Top-10 Finish Leads Loggers at the Puget Sound Invite

| By:
LAKEWOOD, Wash. -- The Loggers finished 4th at the Puget Sound invite, as Cade Streeter led the way with a top-10 finish.

How it Happened
Michael Baker put together his best round of the season to lead the Loggers in round one, shooting a 74 (+3) with some consistent golf down the stretch. After going two-over through his first six holes, a birdie on the par-5 ninth got him back in the round. He pieced together seven pars in a row on the back nine, ending his round well.

Jackson Dorlarque also played well, shooting a 35 (-1) on the front nine to get off to a great start. Birdies on one, seven, and 13 paved the way to a 75 (+4), putting together one of his best rounds of the season so far. Bellevue CC transfer Milo Stover was also consistent throughout his round, birding the first hole to get his day started. A couple of big numbers plagued his day, but he was still able to piece together a 77 (+6) for the Loggers.

Streeter struggled a bit on day one, getting off to a tough start. He renounced with some consistent golf in his final 12 holes of the day, shooting a 38 (+3) on the back to finish with a 78 (+7). Preston Kieschnik concluded the scoring with an 80 (+9) for the Loggers.

Joe Bohan and Kingsley Duong led the way individually on day one, both shooting an 80 (+9). Kieschnik had three birdies on the back nine, but was plagued by doubles on 17 and 18 to bump him out of the 70s. Bohan recorded 8 pars in a row in the direct center of his round, providing the highlight of his day. Charlie Carlson (+13) and Kenny Castro (+21) rounded out the Logger scoring.

For round two, six Loggers birdied the first hole to get the team off to a great start. Streeter led the way for the scoring five, shooting a 73 (+2) to rebound from his round one score. A 36 (+1) on the back nine helped him finish his round well, as another birdie on the par-5 14th highlighted his round.

Dorlarque was the only other Logger to shoot in the 70s in round two. He was consistent throughout the day, shooting a 78 (+7). A birdie on seven and five straight pars on the back nine highlighted his day, as he finished his weekend T-12. Stover's 37 (+2) on the back nine helped bring him back into the game, but he finished with an 81 (+10) to conclude his scoring at the Puget Sound Invite. Baker and Kieschnik both shot 83 (+12) to round out the Loggers' scoring five.

Bohan led the way individually for the Loggers, shooting an 81 (+10) in round two to cap his Logger debut. He started with back-to-back birdies on the first two holes, and finished going one over through his final five. Duong also played well, shooting an 82 (+10) for the fourth-best Logger score of the day. Carlson (+15) and Castro (+20) concluded the individual scoring.
