NORTH PLAINS, Ore. -- The Loggers made the trek to Oregon for the Northwest Conference Fall Classic, finishing in 7th place.
How it Happened
Round 1
The first round saw four Loggers in the 70s, as the team made a jump from last year's NWC Championships. Cade Streeter led the way, shooting a 70 (-1) to sit in 7th place after the first round. He got hot in the middle of the round, stringing together three birdies in a row to get to two under for the day. A bogey on the par-5 15th set him back a stroke, but he still finished in the red for the day.
Preston Kieschnik continued his solid play in his second tournament as a Logger, but got out to a slower start to the round. After going four over through his first six holes, birdies on 8, 11, and 12 got him back on track. He finished with a 73 (+2), a great round for the freshman. Kingsley Duong also played well for the Loggers, as birdies on the 10th and 12th holes propelled his back nine. He went 39-37 to finish with a 76 (+5), starting his career as a Logger on a high note.
Milo Stover also shot in the 70s, piecing together seven straight pars to start his back nine. A couple of big numbers raised his score, but birdies on 8 and 17 helped him to a 77 (+6) finish. Jackson Dorlarque rounded out the scoring with an 81 (+10).
Round 2
Streeter improved a position on day two, tying for 6th after a final round score of 71 (E). In a shotgun start, Streeter started with a bogey on 16, and cruised to a 38 (+2) on the front nine. To start the back - his 13th hole of the day, he rattled off four straight birdies from 10-13 to pull back to one under. A final bogey on the long par three 14th brought him back to even, where he finished the tournament in T-6th.
Stover had the second best round of the day for the Loggers on Monday, shooting a 74 (+3) to close out the tournament. After a smooth round, he birdied three of his final six holes to jump up seven places individually. Dorlarque also had a much better round two, firing a 77 (+6) to close out the Loggers' scores in the 70s. After going 8 over through his first 15 holes, he birdied holes 15 and 16 to close out his round well. Streeter, Stover, and Dorlarque's late-round heroics helped the Loggers bounce back, as they jumped into 7th place.
Kieschnik (+9) and Duong (+14) closed out the scoring for the Loggers, as the team improved by two positions from the 2026 NWC Championships. Whitman took home the team title by 15 strokes, shooting 554 (-14) as a team.
