BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Kyrstin Wilson breaks seed at the NCAA Indoor National Championships, placing 18th to cap her phenomenal indoor season.
How it Happened
Despite running sub 7.70 for the past three meets, Wilson fell just short of the National Finals. She raced her way to a 7.68 time in the Prelims, placing fifth in her heat and 18th overall. This caps a phenomenal indoor season for Wilson, as she concludes her indoor career with the second-best 60m time in school history.
After qualifying with a 7.64, Wilson looks to turn her focus to the outdoor season. As the current record holder in the outdoor 100m and 200m dashes, She looks to improve her time and qualify for another NCAA National Championship. Her time of 11.75 seconds in the 100m is the fastest in over a decade, and would place her currently as the fastest outdoor time in the nation this year.

Wilson will head to Pacific Lutheran next weekend, March 20th-21st for the Brad Moore Invitational.
