McMINNVILLE, Ore. -- The Loggers capture their second victory of the year at the Wildcat Invite, with Kira Goode securing medalist honors.
How it Happened
Day 1
Goode led the way on day one for the Loggers, putting together a great round of 76 (+4) to lead the field. After going five over through her first five holes, Goode brought it back down the stretch, playing the par fives in three under par. She capped off her day with an eagle on the 18th, putting together an impressive back-nine 34 (-1).
Elise Munding was next up for the Loggers, firing a day-one 83 (+11). She was consistent on the front nine, eliminating big numbers and staying focused to shoot a 42 (+5). On the back, she rallied with two birdies to finish with an 83 (+11). Cayton Smith also had a decent first round, shooting an 85 (+13). Her back nine 39 (+4) capped off a great finish, concluding her day in fourth place.
Francesca Brinkman and Abigail Udlock rounded out the Logger scoring on day one, with Brinkman firing an 89 (+17) and Udlock a 97 (+25).
Day 2
Goode continued her solid play on day two, shooting a 79 (+7) to close out the individual victory. She got off to a great start, going one under through her first five holes, and even par through her first 10. Despite a rocky back nine, she finished her round with a birdie to secure the win for the Loggers. Munding followed her round of 83 with an 85 (+13) on day two, finishing the final round in fourth place overall. This is Munding's best finish of the year, which provides a great piece of momentum heading into the NWC Spring Classic.
Brinkman improved on her day one score by two strokes, finishing with an 87 (+15). Cayton Smith rounded out the scoring four with a 90 (+18), finishing the tournament in seventh place.
The Loggers pick up the victory, handing them their second win of the season.

The Loggers head to the NWC Championships hosted by Pacific at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club. Tee times are set for Sunday, April 19th.
