| By:
TACOMA, Wash. --  Four Loggers earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team this year, showing out both on the field and in the classroom.

The CSC recognizes Scholar-Athletes who are of sophomore standing or higher who carry a 3.5 GPA, and also play in 75% of games throughout the year. Four members of the Men's and Women's Tennis teams made the prestigious list, showing their versatility across the board.

Men's Team
Business and Economics major Jason Rowe was credited for both his academic and athletic abilities this year. He landed a spot on the Northwest Conference All-NWC First Team, playing in 16 matches for the Loggers. He was consistent as Puget Sound's best player, playing in the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles all year.

Business major Jackson Stumpf held steady, partnering with Rowe in the No. 1 doubles spot, also playing in the No. 2 singles for the majority of the year. He earned a spot on the Academic All-District team with both good grades and playing in 16 matches.

Biology major Reef Gelder earns a spot on the Academic All-District team for the first time in his career, playing in 14 matches for the Loggers. He was an integral part of the Loggers' singles, playing primarily in the three, four, and five singles spots.

Women's Team
Exercise Science major Kaylee Yamada was the lone Logger on the women's side to earn the prestigious Academic All-District Award. She played in the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles spot all season, not missing a single match. She was dominant, earning All-NWC Third Team honors for both singles and doubles this season.

The Loggers continue to grow and look to get better in the off-season as they prepare for the fall ITAs.
